Electroflotation in the case of this device is manufactured in accordance to the system created by Dr. Baer. This makes it particularly useful when it comes to removing oily substances, such as the ones generated in rolling mills and for the removal of dispersions that contain fibers and particles. For example, these processes can occur in the production of glass fiber and various other non-woven fabrics.

Although the investment costs for electroflotation are always higher when compared to dissolved air floatation, this unit can be used without any restriction, even with water temperatures that exceed 80 degrees Celsius - while creating very little foam. Note that the precise separation of the flotate ensures a high cleansing degree, which eliminates the need for filter stages at a later point, making electroflotation suitable for cleaning and treatment of water circulation systems.

This Floating Scum Skimmer from the FSP-series play an important role in collecting floating scum in waste water treatment. They are designed with a submersible pump, jet-injector mechanism, and three floats. To ensure water, air and scum are drawn simultaneously, the skimmers are integrated with a jet-injector mechanism to ensure stability in suction. Changes in water level will not affect the working of the skimmers as their floating nature can keep them in relative position with water. The adjustable suction mouth depth is in the range of 0 to 60mm. Within this range, the skimmer can suck in scum, but not much water. You can adjust the depth by turning the floats to right or left.
