Electroflotation in the case of this device is manufactured in accordance to the system created by Dr. Baer. This makes it particularly useful when it comes to removing oily substances, such as the ones generated in rolling mills and for the removal of dispersions that contain fibers and particles. For example, these processes can occur in the production of glass fiber and various other non-woven fabrics. Although the investment costs for electroflotation are always higher when compared to dissolved air floatation, this unit can be used without any restriction, even with water temperatures that exceed 80 degrees Celsius - while creating very little foam. Note that the precise separation of the flotate ensures a high cleansing degree, which eliminates the need for filter stages at a later point, making electroflotation suitable for cleaning and treatment of water circulation systems.
