The EA-BCI 8000 battery charger series produces different 30 new models with an high quality choice of voltages and current suited for small and big battery strings.
This series has a purpose to charge different Lithium ion batteries, and can also work to charge other battery types such as lead acid, NiCD or NiMH. In this product, the suitable charging profile are pre-programmed and simply parameterised by the operator for definite batteries. This battery charger can use either a 4-stage charging cycle for charging lead-acid batteries with liquid, gel (GEL CELL) or felt soaked (AGM) electrolyte, or a 5-stage cycle containing storage and refresh mode.
In additon, EA-BCI 8000 battery charger series includes a graphic menu which contains the guidelines in correcting the settings.

The automatic battery chargers in this product series can be used for various applications, such as charging lead acid batteries up to 300Ah. The units are operated in accordance to I-U-U characteristics. The chargers can be started in the constant current mode, achieving a cell voltage evaluated at about 2.37V. The timer is then started, being responsible for switching the unit to the constant voltage mode.
After an hour of operation, the chargers are changed to trickle charge, while the voltage drops to a value of 2.3V. The standby mode makes the current only a few mA. In case the cell voltage drops below a certain threshold, the charging process will be triggered again.
