Automatic battery charger - 150 - 300 W | BC 500 series
The automatic battery chargers in this product series can be used for various applications, such as charging lead acid batteries up to 300Ah. The units are operated in accordance to I-U-U characteristics. The chargers can be started in the constant current mode, achieving a cell voltage evaluated at about 2.37V. The timer is then started, being responsible for switching the unit to the constant voltage mode. After an hour of operation, the chargers are changed to trickle charge, while the voltage drops to a value of 2.3V. The standby mode makes the current only a few mA. In case the cell voltage drops below a certain threshold, the charging process will be triggered again.
