This is an R&D instrument for general purposes. It facilitates perfect analysis of the thermal transport features. These features may include thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity.
It covers good type of materials which include pastes, solids and liquids of different dimensions and geometries.
It meets the ISO standard 22007-2 like the TPS 2500 S.
The TPS 2200 is not as versatile as the TPS 2500 S and also restricts itself in regard to the measurement time, sample size and maximum thermal conductivity, which can be handled. Unlike TPS 2500S , TPS 2200 S is slower and cannot measure tiny and high thermal conductivity samples.
However, TPS 2200 is an excellent option for measuring the larger bodies.
