ABB Jokab universal relay is a safety relay providing several input options for multiple safety devices and levels of risk. ABB Jokab relays are the most flexible and highest safety relays (category 4 according to 954-1) available in the market. This makes it easy for the machine supplier to provide its customers with the most safe and suitable input configuration with one single safety relay.
Approved in Europe, USA and Canada, Jokab universal relays provide a supervised and time reset option. The small and compact relays with EX compatibility feature detachable connector blocks, consume much less power and avoid the use of long emergency stop cables. ABB Jokab relays have excellent switching capacity.

This NAMUR Ex j Module from WAGO provides an effective and flexible solution for digital applications that are intrinsically safe. The module (750-439) connects optocouplers and NAMUR sensors, as well as other actuating elements and mechanical contacts.It doesn't matter whether or not they are operated in the hazardous environments of Zones 1/21 or 0/20. Connected sensors with an operating voltage of 8.2-V (short-circuit protected) are supplied by the module. Integrated LEDs display diagnostic messages clearly. A higher-level control system, which includes configuration software, is also available for displaying diagnostic messages. Detection is provided for sensor failures such as short circuits or wire breaks for each channel. It’s possible to install the 8-channel module in Zone 2, along with standard components, within the WAGO I/O System 750.
