Safety relay / for two-hand controls - 24 - 230 V | DUO-TOUCH SG series

These two-hand control safety modules create an ergonomic, complete system by working with Banner STB touch buttons that self-check or by being retrofitted with palm buttons that are mechanical. The modules feature several redundant output contacts that are force-guided and a diverse-redundant microcontroller circuit. Both touch buttons must be activated within a half second of one another as required by the anti-tiedown logic. Available voltages include 24VAC/DC, 115VAC/24VDC or 230VAC/24VDC.

Some modules have non-safety auxiliary outputs available, and all modules have two or four normally-open safety outputs. The Safety Category 4 in the ISO standard 13849-1 (EN 954-1) is met, and as per EN 574, the units meet the functional Type IIIC two-hand control. Wiring and module exchanges can occur without rewiring due to removable terminal blocks, and during the machine cycle's non-hazardous portion, actuating buttons can be released due to optional mute inputs. Kits include two STB touch buttons and a module.

This SC22-3 safety controller can supervise multiple safety devices. It is created to be able to meet demanding standards in the industry. Indeed, it is already approved and has met the standard of the Safety Integrity Level 3, commonly known as the SIL 3 per IEC 62061 and also IEC 61508. It has also met another demanding standard of the Category 4 Performance Level or PL e per ISO 13849-1. This safety controller's configuration's very simple using either an integrated panel LCD display or with a PC interface. Real-time system and fault history identification is supplied by a Live Display.

Safety relay / for two-hand controls - max. 230 V | DUO-TOUCH series

The DUO-TOUCH control modules monitor a pair of mechanical push buttons or optical touch buttons. They allow for machine operation only when using both hands on the controls. Design includes two normally open immediate safety outputs and one normally closed non-safety auxiliary output. The NO outputs have a 4A rating. Controls cannot not be overridden and are engineered to be initially simultaneously. This module meets requirements for Safety Categories 1 and 3 (Type III A/B). Response time is 25 milliseconds or less.

Models featuring 24V AC/DC, 230V AC or 115V AC supply voltages are available.
