The TGU series gears feature a robust and highly compact design, with 99% efficiency, specifically intended for pit turbines. The efficiency of these units is largely due to double helical toothing (optimized for specific application), low-friction bearings and optimal lubrication. The gear system support is located halfway along the shaft, and when combined with clever ribbing, enables force transfer directly from turbine to the foundations, eliminating housing flexural stress and ensuring exceptional tooth meshing, even at maximum load. These models feature a power range from 500 to 7,500 kW, with 750 min-1 output shaft speed and 1:3 to 1:7 gear ratios.

The TGVF/TDVF series is a line of singe- or two-stage spur gear systems engineered by Eisenbeiss. It is suitable for use in satisfying the requirements of tough applications in vertical water turbines.

The unit features a motor rating of 100 kW to 7,500 kW. It has an output shaft speed of 750 rpm. The TGVF has a gear ratio of 3:7, and 7:18 for TDVF.

The system prevents any lubricant from escaping from the gear system through a wear-free seal system on the input shaft. The weight of the generator is accommodated safely, and the risk of critical vibration is minimized. The device is structured in a massive construction, and welded directly to the housing.

Eisenbeiss for spur gear systems are developed for various fields of application, adopted to exact specifications of the particular case. The various cases with various operating profile demand durability, easy maintenance gear system and satisfactory price/performance ratio. Several applications are non-stop operation where heat balance is crucial. In other application considerable loads are imposed at a standstill, operation's repeated brief phases are typical in which gear systems again cools down in between(e.g. drives for loopers or crane travel mechanisms).

Adopted toothwork geometries with case point and customized lubrication systems enables to achieve optimal profile maintaining durability, reliability and ease of maintenance for a wide variety of applications. Eisenbeiss gear system with specially optimized efficiency minimizes power losses, they do not heat up much and eliminates auxiliary cooling even in high power ratings. The gear includes G / D / GD / DD or KG / KD series spur/bevel gear systems, 1 -4 stages with 4-400 gear-ratio and 20 kW to 5,000 kW motor rating.

This single drive gear is available in horizontal and vertical designs. The device can provide a transmission of up to 6 MW with the pinion distance being only 400 mm in parts. Used here would be the high power density of the double helical gearing. It uses open-die forging shafts. This will eliminate the need of connections with shaft/hub collars in the gear unit. The device is safe to use as it ensures that no feather key is squashed or no gear shaft connection is damaged even if there is a case of strip tearing.

It uses proprietary brand bearing along with solid cages to supply strong stand drives, which can be used for tandem mills or reversing mills. It can provide service life of up to 100,000 hours. The device works on spur wheel pinion gear system. Its motor rating is from 100 kW to 10,000 kW and its gear ratio is 1 to 16. It features forced feed lubrication and external cooling.
