Torque converter - max. 2 610 kW

The Twin Disc torque converters in general eliminate any unnecessary shuffling, stalling, clutching, de-clutching, or lagging of engines. These converters can also minimize overall mechanical connection by means of pure fluid mass torque transmission that allows stable engine performance within the most effective velocity ranges. These benefits, provided by the Twin Disc's Triple-Level Hydraulic Torque Converters as well as the Singular-Stage Hydraulic Torque Converters are the solutions for diesel installment requisites from 30-3,500 hp.
Furthermore, both these variants feature a complete arrays of sizes, types, configurations, output and input blends available in rotating housing-type, as well as stationary housing types.

Friction clutch / multi-disc / air-operated / pneumatically - max. 6 bar | P130 series

The P130 Series is a multi-disc device that functions under pressure and is pneumatically operated. It utilizes the combination of a pulley or a hub which helps reliably in the industrial operations. The VAR 02 was developed to be used on diesel engines. The friction discs are of compact construction.

Friction clutch / multi-disc / air-operated / pneumatically - max. 12 800 Nm, max. 5 bar | P140 series

The P140 bearing mount is a top of the line component designed and manufactured by Warner Electric as a pneumatic clutch. It is designed to be utilized under pressure at times it is used as a coupling of a pulley. The P140 also features low residual torque and a stationary compressed air distribution.

This bearing mount is equipped with an anti rotation device which shall be inserted in an anti rotation slot along with a side play of 0, 5 mm and a 1 mm play to the bottom, by doing so this would then avoid normal stress build up.

Multi-disc clutch / automatic / hydraulically-operated - max. 3 600 Nm, max. 24 bar | H110 series

The H110 Series of flange mounts, from Warner Electric's line of pneumatic and hydraulic clutches, is designed for hydraulic operation. The H110 has low residual torque and is built for use even under pressure. Its multi-disc construction is shaft-driven, and has exceptional graduality. No adjustment is necessary, due to automatic wear compensation through piston movement.

Fan clutch

The Fan Clutches from Warner Electric exhibit a unique feature which enables it to power on only when needed. This system regulation saves the user of up to 20 horsepower, thereby saving money. Complete disengagement of a fan clutch equals faster engine commencement, minimized fan noise, and enhanced overall engine productivity.

Toothed clutch / electrically operated - max. 25 600 Nm | E320 series

Depending on the size, the toothed clutches in the E320 series are electrically-operated at 24VDC or 103.4VDC. The models VAR n0 should be used for wet operations, and the models VAR n4, which feature sealed bearings, should be used for dry operations.

Engagement must be made either at a low speed or at a standstill and standard technology is available for synchronized or random operation with one position or more. Multi-position is an option, and VAR n4 or VAR n0 versions indicate the number of positions. For applications in oil environments, non-sealed bearings are ideal. These clutches can be used in the coupling of a hub or a pulley.

An optional feature is a detection disc that enables the validation of the coupling position.

Thrust clutch - CR/BW, CR/BV series

The CR/BW and CR/BV types are backstop clutches manufactured by Cross-Morse. These instruments are designed to function for backstop operations. The clutches have been developed to suit conveyor or elevator handshafts, since the structure of the tool is easy to install on new or existing units. These devices are lubricated for life with labyrinth seals suitable for dust laden environment.

These clutches are equipped with a torque arm with slot to employ a fixed bolt to machine frame. Sprags are used to offer a high torque capacity at a cost-effective price. Plain metal brushes with seals that retain grease acts as its bearing support.

It is also provided with ramp principle for extended wear life and rapid application speeds, while its sealing is guarded with labyrinth seals.
