Automatic shot peening machine - KOMBI BLAST 2 S-PEEN
Softline blast cabinet version , The KOMBI BLAST2 S-PEEN is fully automated and designed for precise shot peening of special inconel made leaf springs that are used inside nuclear reactors. This results in hardening the material surface layers and to remove any internal stress formed after the springs are cold formed.
The cabinet is split into two different chambers. Oxide scales are removed from the surface in the right chamber. The linear manipulator has a blasting nozzle mounted to it with the help of oscillation. The surface of the leaf spring is shot peened after EDM in the left chamber.
A turntable is fitted in the chamber which has a special fixture to mount the leaf springs. The nozzle for shot peening is fixed in the side. A cyclone separator equipped to the CENTRO4/2 recycling system which is connected to the KOMBI BLAST2 S-PEEN cabinet for shot peening.

The BLAST 20-20 NP is an automatic shot peening machine that is specially configured to deliver accurate shot peening applications. It is specifically utilized for the shot peening of aircraft engines as well as landing gears. This machine is constructed with a turntable that is located on a trolley and can be pulled out manually underneath the unit therefor enabling easy loading and unloading of the work pieces. Its turntable's rotations speed can be adjusted with the aid of a programmable logic controller.
