The decanter FRIESS Skimmtelligent is utilized at systems were oil is blended with process fluid and does not glide on the water surface. The oily process fluid is pumped with an air compelled diaphragm pump into the decanter Skimmtelligent. At first the dirt substances will complete on below. Then, small oil droplets will be gathered in a coalescing media.

Due to the blending fat the little droplets will be united to few greater drops. The huge drops have more elevate and will float on the water surface. The decanter works independent from production and it removes very small amount of tramp oil. It reduced cost for coolant and washing agent and with tough construction with proven parts.

Centrifugal decanter - 45 kW | BD 50

The Bauer BD 50 centrifuge operates on the decanter principle and is capable of non-stop, automated and unattended operation due to the heavy duty conveyor blades, sturdy bearing design and highly effective vibration isolation system. It operates by pumping the soil particle contaminated slurry into the hub of a rotating conveyor screw that transfers it through ports in the conveyor hub into the rotating bowl that surrounds the screw conveyor. The solid material is continuously separated from the fluid by the centrifugal forces, deposited on the bowl wall and then conveyed to the solids discharge port, while the clean fluid is moved in the opposite direction. This model features non-variable speed between 1600 and 2000 rpm.

Vertical decanter / wastewater

This is the Matec purification plant produced for many industries by the Matec. This plant is useful for the perfect clarification of waste water. These decanters are available in two versions which are:
Vertical Decanter: This one follows the principle of static decantation and also the theory of the natural precipitation of the suspended solid particles. The clarification process is sped up by the accurately sized silos and a thrust cone with a water column which pressurizes the sludge. It also uses an appropriate polyelectrolyte (flocculant) thus enabling quickest possible clarification.

Horizontal Decanter: Also known as scraper bridge which is suited for large water flows. Having low height these also have an upper sludge thickening system. Operated by the scraper-blade bridge, the sludge is pushed and made to settle down to the bottom which is then pushed out. This sludge is pushed out automatically and feeding operation is adjusted to the bridge effort. This thus obtained sludge then can be then dumped into artificial lakes in other places.
