The Dresser-Rand HHE reciprocating compressor is conservatively designed to provide high reliability, with flexible operational capabilities and a strong build.
These rugged HHE compressors provide gas compression up to more than 60,000 psi and well are suited to drivers ranging from 200 to 22,500 hp (16,778 kW).
HHE frame configurations come available in versions with up to ten crank throws. The VB, VG, and VL models all have a variable crank design fearuting a bearing between each crank throw, allowing for both odd and even crank throw options to be possible. This means that balancing cylinders, connecting rod and crossheads are not required for odd throw applications, and both cost and parasitc power can be reduced by using the Dresser-Rand HHE reciprocating compressor.
There is a variety of HHE frame sizes to choose from; as well as cylinders, valves, distance pieces and driver options.

crankpins, rugged cast iron frame, precision main and crankpin bearings,
balance-opposed frame in order to minimize unbalancing, stainless steel

In addition it features die-forged steel connecting rods, cast iron crosshead with
replaceable aluminum shoes (available in nodular iron with shim-adjustable shoes),

The PHE process reciprocating compressor is versatile and offers high performance. Designed for long-term process gas service, the PHE is a horizontally opposed, two-throw reciprocating processor. The 7-inch stroke PHE has been designed to API-618 specifications and is able to cope with rod loads (MACCRL) of 10,200 lbs (45 kN) and gas loads (MACGL) of 11,500 lbs (51 kN).
The PHE can use either direct or V-belt connections to handle various drivers. It can be fitted with non-lubricated or lubricated cylinders with bore diameters ranging from 1.625 to 19 inches (41 to 483 mm).
The PHE is engineered to high standards and therefore has long-lasting reliability. This makes it more cost-effective when full-time performance is demanded in a lower volume service. The PHE is unsurpassed in its compression efficiency, making it more worthwhile in monetary terms for the cfm or psig per hp-hr.

The ESH horizontal single-throw reciprocating compressor is a state of the art discovery. It features All running gear components are pressure-lubricated with filtered oil, distributed through internal rifle-drilled passages (see Figure 1 below). The complete system is protected by an oil pressure shutdown switch. Units have a pressure gauge and a crankcase window-type oil level indicator. Oil filter is automotive cartridge-type for easy replacement. Cylinders for any gas or pressure are available for either lubricated or non-lubricated service. Cylinder materials include cast iron, nodular iron and steel. It is a must have for your many industrial facilities and Mechanical developers.
