The PHE process reciprocating compressor is versatile and offers high performance. Designed for long-term process gas service, the PHE is a horizontally opposed, two-throw reciprocating processor. The 7-inch stroke PHE has been designed to API-618 specifications and is able to cope with rod loads (MACCRL) of 10,200 lbs (45 kN) and gas loads (MACGL) of 11,500 lbs (51 kN). The PHE can use either direct or V-belt connections to handle various drivers. It can be fitted with non-lubricated or lubricated cylinders with bore diameters ranging from 1.625 to 19 inches (41 to 483 mm).
The PHE is engineered to high standards and therefore has long-lasting reliability. This makes it more cost-effective when full-time performance is demanded in a lower volume service. The PHE is unsurpassed in its compression efficiency, making it more worthwhile in monetary terms for the cfm or psig per hp-hr.
