The hydrodynamic shape of the polyester rotor encourages mixing and oxygenation of the water.

The assembly can be fixed on a concrete base or a metal frame using the base plate. The very robust low speed turbine is designed for fixed or floating use. It is composed of the components above joined together by a rigid shaft.

The main components of the TLF include:
- The gear motor;
- The coupling shaft;
- The rotor, made of reinforced fiberglass polyester, filled with expanded polyurethane foam. Its density, less than 1, assists with full tank assembly and reduces axial load on the gear motor. (The rotor can be available in metal depending on customer's request).

The SOFIE is Europelec's high-performance submerged turbine aerator and/or mixer with a vertical shaft and is designed to mix and transfer oxygen in waste water as efficiently as possible.

The solidly-built components have been selected to guarantee a long life with a reduced maintenance.

The SOFIE consists mainly of stainless steel blades rotor with a hydrodynamic optimised shape in a depression housing equipped with exhaust channels.


The main components of the SOFIE include:
- A solidly-built submersible geared-motor;
- A connection with a feeding air flexible elastomer pipe;
- A stainless steel depression housing equipped with exhaust channels;
- A stainless steel blades rotor ;Stainless steel feet for anchoring on the bottom of a tank.

The submersible low speed turbine is completely designed and manufactured in France.
This turbine associated with an air compressor allows both mixing and aeration without aerosol projections or noise pollution.

The floating aerators in the AQUAFEN range are fully designed and manufactured in France. At every stage of the development and optimization of this range, the choice of the selected solutions has been guided by the following requirements:

It is particularly easy to maintain thanks to the absence of submerged bearings or couplings.
