Through-beam sensor photoelectric sensor / cylindrical - 12 m, M18, IP67 | S5 series

The Datalogic S5 Series is a diverse range of tubular plastic M18 photoelectric sensors suitable for diverse industrial applications. The product line is encased in an IP67 compliant ABS housing. Its extensive optical functionality can be selected from either using a fixed focus version with 15 & 50 mm, or the diffuse proximity version with numerous operating distances that extend to 60 cm. Transparent metal detection is achievable through the 4 m retroflex, or the 3 m polarized retroflex model.

The S5 series comes in either cable connection or connector, as well as a 4 wire Vdc and 3 wire Vac version, with a fully configured dark/light mode and NPN/PNP output. The bottom of the sensor is also implemented with a red LED indicator for output status.

Models with trimmer adjustment come with a green LED light that notifies switching stability based on acquired signal intensity.
