VS1 and VS2 monitor the machine surface to which they are attached and alarm when vibration either exceeds or falls below the trip-point setting, according to the alarm over/under switch setting. Each have three LED indicators providing power, vibration and alarm status. The isolated transistor or relay output may be wired for machine shutdown or as part of an early warning system. The adjustable alarm delay prevents false alarms by allowing the user to set the minimum continuous fault condition time for alarm, thus preventing needless system shutdowns during operation or startup. Two rugged cast aluminum housing options are available for each model: the compact NEMA 4X and the Class I and II rated explosion proof (XP). A separate 24 VDC power supply is also available.

The VUM800 Vibration Monitor confirms normal operation of processes utilizing continuous vibration. Since the VUM800 measures actual vibration, not motor rotation, power draw, or any other implied measures, all sources of failure are detected: power loss, motor or gearbox failure, belt slippage, or breakage. Applications include shaker screens, vibratory feeders, bin bottoms, and crushers. The solid state electronics of the rugged VUM800 are epoxy encapsulated in metal. The VUM800 is easily installed and needs no calibration or maintenance. The unit is failsafe; power loss or a broken cable will indicate an alarm situation.

Electro-Sensors VS1 XP Vibration Monitor is a rugged, compact, stand-alone vibration monitor engineered to protect industrial machinery against excessive vibration levels caused by imbalance, misalignment, looseness, or worn bearings. When used to monitor the vibration level, the VS1 XP facilitates the early detection of a pending malfunction, easing the scheduling demands for preventive maintenance.

The VS1 XP has the option of either an NPN or relay output that can be wired for machine shutdown or early warning. An adjustable alarm delay prevents false trips by allowing the user to set a minimum fault condition time before the output changes state.

Housed in a rugged XP enclosure, the VS1 XP mounts directly to the measurement point of the machine being monitored. It is ideal for safeguarding fans, blowers, crushers, compressors, chillers, mixers, large motors, gearboxes, turbines, conveyors, pumps, centrifuges, blenders, and reciprocating machines.

The CMM system is a permanently installed, continuous condition monitoring system, consisting of transducers, converters and combined display and control modules.

The CMM system consists of one and two channel modules measuring shock pulses on bearings, vibration severity according to ISO recommendations and temperature. The measuring results are output as analogue 4 - 20 mA signals, sent to display units with relay functions and/or to a PLC or another computerized monitoring and control system. Measuring ranges and alarm levels are selected according to the technical requirements. Remote warning via mobile phone can be used.

Transducer lines are automatically monitored for short and open circuit. Parts exposed to harsh environments are robust, non-corrosive, sealed or waterproof. EX-proof equipment is available. Measurement of casing vibration is in accordance with the ISO Standard 10816. The two actual measured values are shown in the display, as well as their percentage values with respect to the set limit setpoint.
