Spectrum analyzer / signal / telecommunication - max. 50 GHz | N9070A

Many digital communications and radar applications today require demodulation and analysis of wideband signals in the microwave region. While this task can be accomplished using a modern wideband oscilloscope to directly digitize microwave signals for analysis, the PXA signal analyzer also can be used as a cost-effective downconverter when used with lower sampling rate digitizers or digital oscilloscopes.

The N9070A wideband signal analysis solution takes advantage of the PXAs wide IF output, a high dynamic range oscilloscope, and the powerful 89600 VSA software to deliver a wideband high-dynamic range signal analysis solution at an affordable price. In the past, when using a signal analyzer as a downconverter, a source would be required to do a calibration at the specific center frequency the test was being performed at. This was expensive and making a measurement could take a considerable amount of time. The PXA now offers exportable correction data and when combined with the characterized IF data, allows for an accurate measurement throughout the frequency range of the analyzer. This simplifies the wideband measurement, similar to running the VSA inside a standalone PXA. The corrections span over 1 GHz and allow the VSA to run inside the oscilloscope. The VSA can be used to characterize and troubleshoot over 75 signal formats, both custom and standard based, or analyze pulsed signals for phase linearity or modulation on pulse.

Flow visualization system - LaserEye

UVIRV is a visualizer and it is designed for visualizing IR and UV coherent and incoherent radiation. The radiations may emanate from laser or other sources of type-light. The device does not require any electrical power supply. This ceramic tablet is made from rare earth element compounds and is ecologically safe.

IRV model of visualize converts near IR radiation of pulsed and CW lasers to visible green light. The device is made using special ceramic and anti stokes luminophores. UVIRV-IRV Twin model combines features of UVIRV and IRV. One side of this device emits red color and is for UV-IRV visualization while the other side, which emits green color, is for IRV visualization. IRV card model shares its features with IRV visualize but it is not mounted in a holder. It comes in an integrated design.

Photon counter

The distinct union of quick timing and structured resolution in the PHOTONIS Imaging Photon Counter, makes it a dominant leader in photon imaging. The 50ps timing resolution is remarkable to resistive anode IPCs and many orders of magnitude quicker than EMCCDs or Image Intensified Cameras. The Photon counters integrate a cross-strip anode, offering an exclusive merge of high spatial resolution and quick timing that is not available in any other product. Apart from these, each photon is separately time-stamped, allowing event analysis which was never available before. The spatial resolution of less than 15μm rms over the 18mm effective space is equal to over 1 million pixels. The Imaging Photon Counter is well-suited for time-resolved fluorescence imaging, LIDAR mapping, Astronomy or any photon counting utilization with both high temporal and structural resolution necessities.

Photon counter - MCP-PMTs

The MCP-PMT Photon Detector brings together two fast photonic timing detection technologies into a single sensor. The 50ps timing resolution is superior to resistive anode IPCs and many orders of magnitude faster than EMCCDs or Image Intensified Cameras. An 18mm MCP and a photocathode are used in combination with a single anode. The unit also offers magnetic resistance to ~3 Tesla, with jitter measured at ~130pS FWHM. This product is ideal for high speed and single photon detection, fluorescence, nuclear physics and other high-energy applications. In addition, It is is available in two versions - one with a single MCP and another with two MCPs in a chevron configuration for enhanced sensitivity. It comes with a built-in bleeder chain and can be equipped with either an S20 or S25 photocathode.
