The MP International offers a portable data acquisition device that comes with a cube. It is made up with a rugged and compact size and is supplied with a cube I/O chassis together with the continuous data acquisition or Coda. This device is used for temperature, vibration signals and strains. Moreover, the portable data acquisition device is equipped with an Ethernet-based cube I/O chassis that is applicable for applications like aerospace, laboratory data acquisition, controlling and industrial operations. In addition, the cube installed in the device can be used as a front-end real-time capture display.

The DIAMOND Network Acceptance kit is a user-friendly experimenting system for fiber-optic P2P networks, with FBG as their basis. The system offers the performance of a clear Optical Line Identification (OLID), with credits to the incorporation of FBGs within linking units, which allows the line efficiency and link correctness to be monitored from a single access point. OLID is a technically valuable and productive alternative to the time and resource-consuming red-light testing method. The system does not involve with the standard telecom P2P operating frequency spectrum, therefore it can also be employed on lines that are already active. OLIDs can be written into many different standard FO units, e.g. UGTs (optical transition adapters), pigtails or patch cords that can be temporarily/permanently established both in the Central Office (CO) or on Optical Termination Outlets (OTO), as well as wherever the application would need.
