The ARL OPTIM'X is a user-friendly WDXRF instrument that requires minimal operation and maintenance expenses. The instrument features a Thermo Scientific SmartGonio that covers elements from fluorine (F) to uranium (U). It uses a rhodium anode X-ray tube and its geometry is improved for highest sensitivity. The technique and the analytical methods are mature enough to establish clear qualitative and quantitative characterization of diversified materials. Modern technological developments have helped to include WDXRF into reference methods for analytical laboratories by virtue of their simplicity, flexibility, affordability and reliability.
