The new Absorptometer "C" Data Acquisition System is utilized to determine oil absorption. This is done in compliance with ASTM D 2414 and ASTM D 3493 standards to include the new B and C procedures. The Absorptometer "C" Data Acquisition System benefits from having major components which include a high-precision measuring mixer with special blades, a high-precision burette with variable programmable titration rate for optimum test procedure, a frequency inverter drive unit with precise torque measurement, and 32 bit software for Windows 98, ME, XP and 2000.

Whilst the measuring principle is the same as previous models, the burette and instrument don't automatically stop. This enables evaluation acc. to the new B and C procedures of ASTM D 2414. Numerous advantages are offered for daily laboratory use by Absorption "C" user-optimized modern 32 bit software.

Every examination station is used for future high-throughput needs. An individual 3Flex with a minimum footprint and three manageable examination station can reduce expensive cost in various devices.
