Schaeffler's FAG Top-Laser TRUMMY2 belt tension measuring device is a user-friendly optical-electronic manual measuring system that is both compact and durable. Determining accurate belt tension is imperative in maximizing the life span of a belt drive system. Accurate tension also reduces wear and erosion of drive components, while reducing costs and increasing overall manufacturing productivity.

The FAG Top-Laser TRUMMY2 consists of a cable free measurement probe and a microprocessor that shows pertinent measurables for belt tension as a frequency (in Hz) or force (in N). It also has an easy and reliable user menu that is available in different languages. The device measures the natural frequency by means of clock pulse light, and uses this to determine the belt tension.
