The 32-bit SmartController from IFM is a low-cost, mini-controlled unit especially designed and developed for use in mobile applications. SmartController is used as the main mini-controller for smaller machines and applications, and apart from this, it can also act as an I/O module for complex control systems, where it has the potential to carry out sensor signal pre-processing in a decentralized manner.

The system can be extended through two powerful CANopen interfaces that allow for a relatively successful implementation of applications as well as flexible networking. These interfaces assist in carrying out the exchange of data between a SAE J1939 data engine and CANopen quite easily. SmartController has the power to be independently and easily programmed with CODESYS 2.3 to IEC 61131.

The mobile controller meets the requirements of modern electronics. The large number of inputs and outputs allows to simultaneously process sensor signals and proportional functions. The controller was developed particularly for use in off-highway and mobile machines on the basis of the current standards and long-term experience.
Connection and interfaces
Besides the multifunctional inputs and outputs each control module is equipped with 5 CAN interfaces. They support all important bus protocols, different baud rates and also the transparent and preprocessed data exchange. Programming to IEC 61131-3 ensures that all control functions can be easily integrated in the application program.

32-bit Classic Controller for mobile vehicle features an analog and digital I/O with diagnostic function. With its 16 multi-functional inputs and outputs, it is ideal for difficult functions in mobile vehicles. It has 4 CAN interfaces with CANopen and SAE J1939 protocol and is easily programmable with CoDeSys 2.3 to IEC 61131-3. It has E1 type approval from German Federal Office for Motor Traffic.

With a steady increase in the requirements of the control modules, this device has been integrated with more proportionate functions for optimal functioning. By considering the current standards and huge experience, this device was developed for use in off-highway as well as mobile vehicles. The control models are equipped with 4 CAN interfaces that support almost all the important bus protocols, baud rates along with the exchange of transparent and preprocessed data.

The control functions can be integrated easily into the application program with the help of IEC 61131-3 programming.

These one-inch ports are designed for petroleum-based fuels and may be used with gasoline, diesel fuel, unleaded fuels and kerosene among other fluids. They facilitate high-volume flows and have a pressure relief valve to keep the fluid outlet pressure to 50psi or 3.5 bars or less.

They also meet IL79 specifications as they open and bleed off pressures. These valves may also be plumbed to get the bleed-off back into a container for future storage.

This unit is developed to dispense petroleum based fuels like gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, aviation fuel, fuel oil, and unleaded fuels. It is constructed with a pressure relief valve (per U.L. Specification 79) that restricts fuel outlet pressure to less than 50 p.s.i. (3.5 bar). The fuel relief valve opens and vents excess pressure, and can be plumbed to return any bleed off fuel back to the storage container. It can be adapted for use with high volume transfer, bulk unloading, or refueling.
