It has an indexing feature that allows the user to manage coupling qualities in one setup. The headstocks are prepared for assembly with hydraulic indexing to adjust the setup with care. It has a rigid body for threading needs and works with premium couplings as well.
The vertical axis turret is designed for high pressure levels with a tool coolant. The distribution of the guideways allows the unit to cut forces for an accurate setup. It has a motor that works at power levels up to 100kW or 134hp based on the model used.
The unit also has features to cut threads inwards, to pull items by cutting outwards and chip evacuation to protect the threaded space. This is available with a Siemens, Fanuc or Fagor control system and can even use a variety of coupling handling options.
