The tube squaring machine Protem SE - 2T is a dual machine in one unit. It is compact, adaptable and is less in weight used for thin tubes. The Protem SE - 2T tube squaring tool can take diameters in the range of 3 mm to 60, 33 mm (0.1 2.3). Due to the adaptability of the Protem SE - 2T tube squaring tool is braced on the exterior part of the tube with collets.

Two live centers mounted on a 3 position dividing table are used to clamp the first working piece. Each time the dividing table rotates, a piece which is placed into the load position moves to the first working station where rough machining occurs, and begins turning. This piece then moves to the second working station or finishing station, while the piece already situated there returns to the load position. It is then collected and replaced with a new working piece.
Every working group has 2 slides. One is meant for the polishing brushes to approach the piece while the other enables the brushes to longitudinally slide in both directions.

The slide starts moving forward and backward thanks to an hydraulic cylinder when pushing the 2 hands button. The working pressure is handled by a gear reduction motor and can be seen on an ammeter.

While the working of the machine, it is possible to increase or decrease manually the working pressure (that can be seen on an analogical ammeter)
The number of passes desired can be set as desired or needed to obtain a good surface finish on the piece
