The SAPORITI PV500 is a ball valve grinding machine with an innovative design. Its construction includes a grinding wheel head with a 60-degree inclination to the horizontal surface. This allows the users to get a good view of the operations and for the coolant to fall down smoothly. The machine bed is a sturdily built structure with a design that enables the grinding swarf to easily be conveyed to a large filter for cleanliness and maintenance. The case is constructed of stainless steel to protect the filters from damage caused by paint residue. The motors have closed cooling systems to decrease noise and risk of failures caused by large quantities of coolant. High precision is made possible with the guide roller pads. The Y-axis is CNC-controlled and provides micrometric movement. The Renishaw tracer is designed for perfect centering of the wheel on the work-piece.

The PV2000 series is a ball valve grinding machine. It is ideal for the precise grinding of ball valves in steel or coated by satellite and other materials. These machines come in different sizes of valve range from 1” up to 64”.
All machines are equipped by Renishaw with Saporiti customized software for the easy centring of the tool with the ball. Relevant filters and cooling system allow to keep the workpiece temperature quite constant to assure the best precision.
