The SFD900 is a vertical band saw for wood, manufactured by Mida. The product is constructed with a sturdy and large frame which suitable for carpentry shop or in a sawmill. It has the ability to resaw planks, cants, cut in angle due to its high resistance frame, cast-iron flywheels, pneumatic double caliper disc brakes and many more.

The MIDA band for log carriers, being built from thick welded steel. The fly wheels are constructed of stabilized cast-iron, which are mounted on twin roller bearings and dynamically balanced. The band saws in this product series come equipped with a saw blade extension that is made hydraulically, with direct tensioning force indication, while the device for adjusting the tilt on the top flywheel is another important addition.

Next, the pneumatic breaking system of the bottom flywheel and the automatic cleaning and lubrication of the flywheels and the blade is possible with gasoline. The steel covers are included for blade protection and for the top flywheel, while the driven in-feed table is another important aspect.
