This particular installation is based on the CF-1220*2 pharmaceutical counting machine. As this typ of counting machine is able to count the tiniest of products at very high speeds (even as small as 2 millimeters / 0.08 inch) it is the ideal machine for counting refreshing minst and similar products. The filling line begins with an unscrambler which places the empty dispensers into special holders -so called pucks- on a continuous conveyor belt. While moving underneath the counting machine's discharge nozzles the counts are released into the narrow dispensers. At the end of the filling line the dispensers are automatically closed and taken out of their puck. With 30-pieces per dispenser this counting and filling system has an average output capacity of 80 dispensers per minute.

This counting and packaging system is based on the CS-TQI counting machine which is specially developed for counting small quantities at very high speeds and makes this type of counting machine the most obvious machine for producing promotion packs, give aways, chewing gum packs and all other sorts of similar sized food or non-food products.
Because the counting machine is placed on top of a FFS machine, the bulk product is transported by an inclined elevator belt to the counting machine's bulk hopper from where the products are conveyed to the counting machine's detection and discharge units. When it comes to achieving the highest possible output, the critical factor is not the counting machine but most often the packing machine. In this case our CS-TQI counting machine could easily cope with the high speed of the FFS machine. This particular counting and packaging system produces no less than 200 gum packs per minute with 4-pieces per pack!

The G1 Abaco Counting Machine is for tablets, coated tablets and capsules. The machine has simple electronic counting system. It entails a rotary disc with vacuum system that picks-up the products, one at a time, and subsequently conveys, counts and controls them.
The whole process is done without impact between the products or the mechanisms that vibrate the tablets or capsules. G1 can be integrated with a control and reject system of single defective products or non-compliant products by means of product detection sensors through optical reading systems such as video cameras or inspection devices.
Parts in contact with the machine are made from stainless steel 316 or FDA approved material. The machine has the capacity to process 600 tablets per minute.
