Silver brazing is also known as silver soldering or hard soldering, being a brazing process that makes use of a silver braze alloy based filler paste. In addition to the pastes that are compromised of various percentages of silver and other metals, including zinc, copper, nickel and tin, the general-purpose pastes in this product series offer the lowest temperature and a short melting range. In addition, the general purpose pastes are also defined by the lowest temperatures on the market, as well as other benefits, such as easy application, high strength and versatility.
The fusion silver brazing paste offers excellent flow characteristics and good mechanical properties, while the fusion pastes have been tested on nearly all ferrous and non ferrous metals. Fusion also provides several silver brazing pastes, suitable for joining metals such as steel, brass, copper, carbide and stainless steel. The fusion silver braze pastes are also comprised of a finely atomized filler metal, along with a paste-like binder and a fluxing agent.
