Welding electrode / emission - CRISTAL™ E series

The pr ISO EN 15011-4 technology is a new European and International standard adaptation for health and protection in welding processes. It serves as guideline on procedural tasks like collecting substances from soldering fumes and gases, to evaluate smoke emission level and its chemical components.

This module provides operational directions for users and manufacturers with regards to proper decision making for the system.

MAG welding wire - EXTRAPAC

The EXTRAPAC, manufactured by Oerlikon, is a drum packaging used for mag welding wire. It combines the easy to scrap packaging output and simple handling which are operated for cost-effective and environmental solutions. It also features the M20 adapter connector nozzle, twist free wire and wire coil loosening output. Focus and standard arcs has two solutions namely, the extrapac and spool that are used for constant winding of the wire coil from the start to the end.

Welding electrode / tungsten

These W and Mo electrodes are for resistance welding. When it comes to resistance welding processes, the parts that require joining can be pressed together, heated by an electric current until pools of molten material form between them. The operation requires high currents, along with large pressing forces, while the forces between the workpiece and the electrode can reach up to 450 MPa during the welding process. This represents a considerable challenge when it comes to welding withstanding the loads.

TIG welding electrode

These tungsten insert gas welding devices perform clean weld connections for steel or aluminum materials. An arc is produced in the middle of a tungsten electrode and the items to be welded. This arc allows the materials to melt and fuse with one another. After sometime, the units will cool down and exhibit a firm welded connection.

Welding electrode / tungsten - 1 800 °C ... 3 200 °C

These Tungsten electrodes are manufactured by Plansee. It features a comprehensive melting point of all metals, a low vapor pressure, low thermal expansion, good thermal conductivity, and a low electron work function.

Anodes have to withstand extreme thermal loads. PLANSEE can supply special potassium-doped tungsten materials for this type of application: WVM and WVMW. These materials benefit from a high level of thermal stability, and are characterized by extensive arc erosion resistance.
