The EPX2800R robot is a fast spraying machine which can be used in coating applications involving the automotive and other industries, even in hazardous conditions. It gives a finished product that is smooth and uniform, with effective use of paint or other solutions.
It is flexible with a compact design and a hollow wrist making it easier to paint curved surfaces. The robot can be used in conjunction with mounting spray equipment applicators, and has an inside diameter of 70mm (2.75"). It prevents interference between the hose and parts which makes for adequate cycle time and reach of the robot.
It has a payload of 15kg (33.1lb), a horizontal reach of 2,825mm (111.2") and a vertical reach of 4,752mm (187.1").

With its top notch speed, the EPX2900 robot is able to render consistent and smooth finish with class leading efficiency, and is approved for Class 1, Div Factory Mutual (FM) 1 use in hazardous environments.
The EPX2900 robot boasts a 70 mm (2.76") diameter deep wrist that accommodates mounting of spray machines. Additionally, the interferences that sometimes occur between the parts/fixtures and the hose is prevented, which guarantees unmatched cycle time and robot access/reach. There is wide range of optional devices that can be mounted on the upper arm to minimize waste of paint and cycle time. These devices include flushing unit valve and master valve, 24-color change valve (CCV) or flushable gear pump (FGP).
