The compact 108 Series power units are completely self-contained, and feature an AC or DC motor, gear pump, reservoir, internal valving, load hold checks and relief valves. All of the units in the series are designed by Parker for intermittent service, and the units come in four standard pump sizes.
The units are available with single or bi-directional rotation, and most often, single units are used to charge accumulators, power one-direction hydraulic motors and cylinders, provide pilot flow to servo valves, pressurize lube systems and supply multifunction circuits with external valving. Bi-directional, reversible units operate double-acting cylinders and two-way motors.
Typical applications for these units are in positioning systems, recreational vehicles, clamping, cycling and lifting operations.
