AAF's VariCel V filters are high-capacity, mini-pleat filters that include increased area V-bank design, dual-density media, and light-weight but rigid construction. The VariCel V filter is designed for service in HVAC installations with difficult operating conditions, such as variable air volume, turbulent airflow, repeated fan shutdown, or moderate to high humidity. The width and height dimensions are interchangeable and the filters can be installed with the pleats either vertical or horizontal without affecting performance.
Varicel V filters are available in MERV 15, 14, 13, and 11. Single and double header options. Antimicrobial available on MERV 15 and MERV 14 models.

The VariCel VXLS filter delivers the desired air quality when used in systems with difficult operating conditions, such as turbulent airflow, repeated fan shutdown, or high humidity. The performance of the VariCel VXLS filter is not affected by difficult operating conditions, as it maintains a steady pressure drop throughout the life of the filter. The low initial resistance of the VariCel VXLS filter means less energy is required to maintain airflow.

VariCel VXL pleated media is manufactured with our dual-density design of glass fiber layers for maximum dust holding capacity. The header and cell sides provide a sturdy construction that resists damage during shipping, handling, and operation. Thermoplastic separators maintain uniform spacing between pleats to allow optimal air flow and a large effective media area. Constructed of plastic, the VariCel VXL is fully incinerable.
