The VariCel VXL high efficiency filter is designed for service in HVAC installations with difficult operating conditions, such as variable air volume, turbulent airflow, repeated fan shutdown, or moderate to high humidity. These 8-panel filters can be used in high velocity systems operating at up to 750 FPM. The width and height dimensions are interchangeable and the filters can be installed with the pleats either vertical or horizontal without affecting performance.VariCel VXL pleated media is manufactured with our dual-density design of glass fiber layers for maximum dust holding capacity. The header and cell sides provide a sturdy construction that resists damage during shipping, handling, and operation. Thermoplastic separators maintain uniform spacing between pleats to allow optimal air flow and a large effective media area. Constructed of plastic, the VariCel VXL is fully incinerable.
