Uncompromising performance and a compact design: BOXER is a coating system for eyeglass lenses. It is ideal for Rx production as well as for stock production. And of course, the system is suitable for clean room use as well.

Optimized Geometry
With BOXER, the electron beam evaporator is positioned in the middle of a rectangular chamber, which improves the coating properties. A specially developed 'click and fix' system facilitates the replacement of substrate carriers and thus shortens down times.

Suitable for various uses
From classical broadband anti-reflection coating to absorption layers (protection against the sun) - a great number of different processes can be carried out with BOXER. Moreover, if the demands on the system happen to change, its hardware can easily be expanded.

Princetel's PF180 series hand-crank fiber connector polisher is an award winning field polishing machine. It does not require power or battery and therefore is ideal for oil and gas environments where spark is prohibited. The machine can also be a perfect solution in a lab. There won't the frustrating moment when power adapter is missing.

The machine can be transformed into an electrical polishing machine with a powered screwdriver (not included). The driver provides fun and more consistent speed. When power is not available and/or battery is depleted, the hand-crank feature comes in extremely handy. Adjustable force ensures consistent finish for a wide variety of connector types and the number of connectors in the fixture.

The motor-driven turn table provides quiet and stable operation. However, when wall power is not available one can power the machine from a car cigarette lighter outlet or an external 6-12 V battery (not included). Princetel's FPM30 series fiber connector polisher is a full-featured polishing machine with complete electronic control on speed, force, and polishing time. The unique speed-ramping feature ensures minimum damage to expensive polishing films. The machine can be adapted to other polishing needs such as optical crystals and other micro-sized optics.

The unique fixture bay precisely presets the ferrule protrusion of all 12 connectors or ferrules which are locked by six individual screws. Connectors or bare ferrules with the same ferrule diameter (for example FC, ST, and SC) can be polished in the same run.

Convenient force adjustment allows the user to polish 3, 4, 6, 8, or 12 connectors/ferrules at a time without compromising the consistency in dome radius of curvature.

Merging requires some parameters in order to combine information from two cameras in a single range map. A calibration procedure is required, involving the pattern body, and one range map from each of the cameras.

The base camera is the master, and the output will give the merged range map as if it was acquired by the base camera. The effect the user will grasp is that the base camera acquires a shadow-minimized range map.
