4Sight™ provides state of the art 3D data display capability. In fact, all of the wavefront graphics on our website were produced using 4Sight. 4Sight makes it incredibly easy to view wavefront data in a variety of ways. The two basic displays are contour plots and 3D perspective plots that can be rotated in real time. It is easy to view the data in different color palettes. You can even create and edit your own color palettes.

MaxTester 700 Series: Cost-Optimized, Yet Comprehensive OTDRs
The MaxTester 700 series comprises small, lightweight, dedicated portable OTDRs offering a large screen for easy manipulations. These affordable units integrate EXFOs renowned OTDR performance and value-added features in a basic solution that reflects todays needs. The MaxTester series comes in two models: the MaxTester 710 (last mile and access point-to-point OTDR) and the MaxTester 730 (metro and FTTH PON/MDU OTDR).
The MaxTester 710 is perfect for point-to-point last mile testing of passive optical networks (PON) within FTTx architectures. It is ideal for testing short fibers, e.g., inside a CO environment or in a fiber-to-the-antenna (FTTA) network.
The MaxTester 730 is designed for end-to-end testing through up to 1x128 splitters in a PON environment. The 1625 nm out-of-band live testing port allows for efficient troubleshooting. Metro point-to-point testing also makes it possible to test over 80 km of fiber, depending on the network topology.

Optimizing Passive Optical Network (PON) Testing
Designed to meet testing requirements brought by FTTH networks in general, and PONs/MDUs in particular, the FTB-730 enables testing at 1310, 1490, 1550 and 1625/1650 nm. What's more, EXFO's next-generation OTDR software lets you test through high-port-counter splitters—even 1x64 splitters—with loss levels of up to 21 dB.
In-Service Troubleshooting
The flexibility to add a singlemode live testing port for in-service troubleshooting enables you to fix problematic distribution fiber while the others are still active. Its filtered port blocks incoming transmission signals and its out-of-band wavelength will not interfere in your network. Maintaining an excellent quality of service (QoS), it will ease the troubleshooting testing steps.
