Cost effective short fiber testing tool was a challenge yet to meet until now. Handheld OTDRs and Fault Locators could not find issues in short spans due to lack of resolution and specifications while mini-OTDRs were proved to be too large, too expensive and too complicated. Anritsu has come up with a new MU909011A OTDR Module imbibed with all required features and performance required for cost-effective installation and maintenance of short fibres in a compact, modular test set.

The MT9090A ensures unmatched value, user-friendly application with unbiased superior performance. They enable accurate data sampling of five centimeters and deadzones of less than one meter with complete fibre evaluation.
