Turck is presenting the IP69K photoelectric sensors for use in the food and pharmaceutical industry. The new QM26 and QMH26 photoelectric sensors provide reliable performance in manufacturing and packaging zones. The devices are housed in a non-toxic stainless steel housing, and can survive high-pressure washdowns and temperature cycling, ranging from -30 to +60 C and cleaning temperatures up to 80 C. Both variants are designed with minimal grooves and crevices, leaving no room for bacteria to hide and multiply. It is self-draining for clean-in-place applications. Both models have retroreflective sensors with a 260 or 300 cm sensing range and photoelectric sensors with background suppression. The sensor's hygienic mounting shape reduces contamination risk, making it a suitable sensor to place in contact zones.

The device is equipped with a qTeach sensitivity adjustment and has a wavelength of 630 nm. For the product's electrical data, it consists of a voltage supply ranging from 10 - 30 VDC and a current consumption maximum of 35 mA.
