Baumer's FPAM 18 Retro-reflective sensor is ruggedly designed with a durable brass nickel plated housing. FPAM 18 operates at a wave length of 660 nm and uses a pulsed red LED light source with a yellow LED light indicator. It features a polarization filter to detect shiny objects. Electrical response/release time at < 1 ms. The voltage supply is at 10...30 VDC with voltage drop < 1,8 VDC. Typical current consumption is at 22 mA with maximum consumption at 35 mA (with no load). The sensor is implemented with security features such as a reverse polarity and short circuit protection.
