The ColorMax FLEX from EMX is an ideal quality control solution for color verification in both high-speed automated production and manual assembly processes. The sensor light source is projected onto the object surface and the reflected light is analyzed for its red, green and blue composition. The sensor stores a reference color (up to 15 colors) then checks each object for a match. A Windows Application program makes set-up and color recognition programming quick and easy.

The ColorMax View is manufactured by EMX Industries, and is a translucent color sensor that is especially designed for high-speed, on-line color verification of translucent packaging containers. It is utilized in the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, personal care and other industries.
The unit is showing a pass or fail criteria for color characteristics of translucent packaging materials to reduce defects. It has an on-line measurement that permits real-time quality control. It also has wide spectrum white LED light source that is modulated.
