Pyranometer - SR20-D1

Hukseflux Thermal Sensors offers a complete range of sensors, systems and services for the measurement of solar radiation, heat flux and thermal conductivity. It has now added the SR20-D1 digital secondary standard pyranometer to its range of solar radiation sensors. SR20-D1 is a pyranometer of the highest category in the ISO 9060 classification system.

Thanks to the intelligent sensor electronics inside SR20-D1, irradiance is a digital output. The industry standard Modbus over RS485 protocol allows for easy data acquisition and error-free instrument exchange.

Individually tested for temperature and directional response, SR20-D1 is the most accurate digital secondary standard pyranometer available. It has the best in class temperature response, best zero offset and calibration uncertainty. The temperature response of every individual instrument is tested and corrected onboard by the instrument electronics, using a second degree polynomial. SR20-D1’s low temperature dependence makes it the ideal candidate for use under very cold and very hot conditions. SR20-D1 is a true secondary standard pyranometer: reports are included for temperature response tests and directional response tests of each individual instrument, as required by ISO 9060.

SR20-D1 is designed for the solar PV industry and is mainly employed in PV system performance monitoring networks. Take a look at www.hukseflux.com for all SR20-D1 specifications and benefits.

Pyranometer - VU01

Using VU01 is easy. The footprint of VU01 is small, which prevents accumulation of snow. The ventilator power is relatively high in order to increase the airflow. VU01 may be used in combination with Hukseflux’ SR20 secondary standard pyranometers and IR20 and IR20WS research grade pyrgeometers. This unit provides an airflow over the instrument body and dome and has a 5 W and a 10 W heater on board to heat the air. The ventilator is generally used continuously; the heater is typically controlled by the datalogger. Ventilation is typically used with high accuracy measurement requirements. In such cases the need for a high level of instrument maintenance and dome cleaning still exists; evaporating droplets of water might leave stains on the instrument domes. The bottom of VU01 provides access to the removable dust filter.

Pyrgeometer - IR20 & IR20WS

IR20 and IR20WS are research-grade pyrgeometers used for high-accuracy longwave irradiance measurement. The IR20 is equipped with a dome, and a solar blind filter with a cut-on at 4.5 x 10-6 m. The IR20 can measure either day or night, while the IR20WS provides more accurate results due to its wider spectral rays at 1.0 x 10-6 m. The tools are specifically designed to aid in meteorology and climatological studies. Features of these tools include correction of temperature dependence through measurement function, with a high-sensitivity, low thermal-resistance sensor, and fast response time. It is also provided with an on-board heater, and instrument cut-on wavelength displayed on the product certificate.

Pyranometer - SR20

The SR20 pyranometer uses a state of the art thermopile sensor with black coated surface, two domes and an anodised aluminium body. The connector, desiccant holder and sun screen fixation are ultra robust and designed for industrial use. All parts are specified for use across SR20’s entire rated operating temperature range. Pyranometers are subject to classification in three classes according to ISO 9060. From second class to first class and from first class to secondary standard, the achievable accuracy improves by a factor 2. Measurement accuracy does not only depend on instrument properties, but also on measurement conditions. A very accurate instrument will quickly underperform without a regular schedule of maintenance. The selection guide assists the user in choosing the right instrument.
Whatever the application is: Hukseflux offers the highest accuracy in every class at the most attractive price level.

Pyrheliometer - 0 - 2 000 W/m² | DR02

The DR02 is made to monitor the systems in solar energy applications. It is fitted for PV applications, due to its quick response, where it will match the response time of the panels more closely than other types of pyrheliometers.

The product provides a thermally isolated low power window heater in the foreoptic. The heater abolishes the formation of dew on the pyrheliometer window when cycled on or off prior to sunrise. The product requires less cleaning.

This component is suitable for the applications that involve meteorological networks, solar resource assessments, solar energy surveys and outdoor PV/CPV and CSP system performance monitoring. Each DR02 is calibrated upon manufacture and delivered standard with a WRR traceable certificate of calibration.

Pyranometer - 285 - 2800 nm, 7 - 14 µV/W/m² | CMP 11

This product is manufactured by KIPP & ZONEN. The CMP 11 is applicable for meteorological networks and it is particularly meets the demands for solar energy applications because of the shortened response time of 1.66 seconds which is 63%. The Pyranometer does not require any power, it supplies a low voltage of 0-20 m V in relation to the amount of incoming radiation. When a higher voltage level or a 4-20 mA signal is required, the AMPBOX is the perfect solution. In addition, The said series is equipped with gold plated connector that allows for the easy exchange and re-calibration. Also, The screw-in drying cartridge can be easily remove and its replacement desiccant is provided in an appropriate refill packets.
