Pyranometer - 285 - 2800 nm, 7 - 14 µV/W/m² | CMP 21
Kipp & Zonen The CMP 21 is a pyranometer manufactured by Kipp & Zonen. This high performing pyranometer completely complies with the standards of ISO 9060:1990. It is made to measure the irradiance on a plane surface resulting from the solar radiation and from the diffuse radiation incident from the hemisphere overhead.

The detectors of the CMP 21 is similar with the CMP 11 and are separately optimized for temperature compensation. This series is equipped with a stock thermistor sensor which is used in monitoring the temperature of the housing. All units are equipped with their own directional as well as temperature test information. The CMP 21 is used by various institution in the scientific community such as the Baseline Surface Radiation Network of WMO.
