The HS82 hot-stage system comes with HS 1 control unit and HS82 microscope hot-stage. The system is designed to control the temperature of slide samples in small spaces, by way of a cooling fan on the measurement cell. A standard xy table on the touch-screen 7'' VGA color display focuses on specific sample areas.

The HS84 DSC manufactured by Mettler Toledo is a hot-stage system that comes with a HS 1 control unit and a HS84 microscope hot-stage. The hot-stage system is designed to observe and control the temperature of slide samples in either aluminum, glass or sapphire crucibles, and is also capable of simultaneously measuring the DSC heat flow. As a result of this, the HS84 can provide qualitative and quantitative information on both physical and chemical changes in the sample, so that the system no longer needs to be observed under a microscope.

Its display is a 7-inch touch-sensitive VGA colored screen.
