The Sx 3052/3057 is a zero-air generator, manufactured by LNI SCHMIDLIN SA. This product is suitable to use with sonimix machine. This product enables to aliment in carrier gas the calibration systems +GPT and gas dividers without the requirement of costly zero air pressurized cylinders.
This is commonly used in filtering, drying and cleaning the ambient air of pollutants, like HC, CH4, CO; NO, NO2, O3 and SO2. It is applicable to supply combustion Air for FID, dried Air for ozone generators and NOx analysers, zero Air for all gas analysers, and carrier gas to aliment the sonimix calibrators or gas dilutes. It also consists of an optional internal compressor. The external compressed air source is required to use Sx 3052/3057.

This device from Peak Scientific serves the purpose of generating zero air on demand, from compressed air catalyst chamber. This is done to obliterate hydrocarbons as methane, to less than 0.05ppm minimum maintenance with an annual filter change.
The unit is small and stackable, having dimensions 156 mm x 380 mm x 539.5 mm, comes with flow rate options of 1,500 and 3,500cc/min, a delivery pressure of 0-80psi and has minimum inlet air requirements of 1.5 or 3.5 l/min at 90-145psi. It uses 110/230V, 144A in Peak Precision Compressor Electrical requirements.

TECHNOLOGY
The dry compressed air filtered reactes via a catalyst in a contactor. The hydrocarbons present in air are deleted by the reaction via the catalyst. A next filtering via a rigenerating PSA system dries and purifies the air of carbon dioxyde. The outlet air reaches dew point of – 50 C with tracks of CO2—CO below 1.0 ppm
