The capacity sensor reduces type versions from IFM. They are position sensors that are ready to use at a push of a button. Comes in 4 types, the KQ series can detect bulk materials or liquids through non-metallic materials. These capacitive sensors can either be fixed on a flat surface or on tubes using mounting brackets and cable ties. Setting up the KQ series is easy. The new operating concept of the KQ series enables its setting and adjustments of the output function by pressing a button. This model features transparent capacitive sensors, which can be easily adjusted simply by holding down a push button. It detects NPN and PNP output loads automatically and users can easily and freely open and close. The switching is clearly visible and the noises are greatly reduced. The type KG506x range of sensors are geared to detect conductive media via bypasses or non metal walls. They are generally used to detect the overflow of tanks, leakages and at the minimum level.

These devices boast a new operating concept , which activates output function adjustment and settings simply by holding down the push button. Configuration and set up with other evaluation units are simplified owing to the automatic load detection feature. This device is best suited for excellent detection of conducive substances with a dielectric current.

It can be used in industries where the processing and conveyance of granulates are performed. The levels in pipes and silos can be monitored through the capacitive sensors. Sight glasses in the loaders, on the injection molding machines can also be used to monitor levels. Detection of different and wide ranges of plastic by the sensor is important.

The connection to common controllers is simplified by the automatic load detection. It may be used for plastic granulates and bulk material detection through the non metallic walls of the vessel.
