The Solartron CellTest System is a multi-channel test system specially designed for the complete DC and impedance characterization for various energy storage devices such as batteries, fuel cells and super-capacitors. The system's resolution and speed makes it suitable for other research applications including the analysis of sensors, coatings, corrosion and general electro-chemical applications.
The CellTest system comprises of one or more 1470E multi-channel potentiostats and multiple 145x series frequency response analyzers (FRAs) that is connected to a computer to provide simultaneous DC and impedance tests on multiple cells .Each 1470E unit is capable to provide eight fully independent potentiostats and allows simultaneous testing of eight separate cells. The CellTest system is designed to provide various experimental techniques, including charge / discharge, potentiostatic, potentiodynamic, galvanostatic, galvanodynamic and fast cyclic voltammetry.
