The EASYLAN is a cable qualification LAN tester. It provides validation of cable systems to the qualifications of Level 3 TIA standards with it 300MHz pass band. When a cable does not conform with the given standards, this device is capable of detecting where the error originated. The tester can certify copper and optical cabling systems of at most Cat 6 and Ethernet/ATM networks. It is equipped with an embedded site manager which allows efficient sorting of certifications without respect to the site size or the number of average sized sites. The results of the test, whether it is pas or fail are displayed on the EASYLAN and the remote unit.
