The new wireless temperature/pH transmitter by OMEGA comes with a high-performance radio transmitter, built on top of an advanced microprocessor, with a NEMA compatible enclosure. The item can be used with most pH probes, as well as a BNC connector, providing fast and accurate readings, regardless of the type of application it is being used with.

Next, if an application requires automatic temperature compensation, the device accepts a Pt100 RTD probe, connected via a standard interface. Users can configure this device with a standard USB port and use it to transmit data at speeds between 1 and 30 samples per minute. In addition to this, each of the transmitted reading includes temperature and pH data, along with the RF signal strength.

Note that the software included allows the use of the PC as a data logger, chart recorder and even as a meter.

This device offers the possibility to control between one and 16 circuits. The variables that can be measured with it include redox, temperature, chlorine, pH, fluoride, bromine, chlorite, chlorine dioxide, ammonia, flow, conductivity, UV intensity and turbidity.

The wiring system integrated into the design is a simple one, while the expansion options are retrofit, due to the CAN-bus system. The device also offers flexibility, mainly because of the various expansion options and the plug-and-play bus modules used for controlling, monitoring and measuring.

The simple on-site calibration, as well as the integrated screen recorded with data logger and the optional basic visualization are other advantages added by the manufacturer. Finally, the item can also be integrated into SCADA or visualization systems via a LAN interface, and users can also connect it to a PC via cable or the Internet.
