Brandywine Communications High Performance Timing System is the most accurate frequency system currently available, with inherent 10ns accuracy. This next generation, dual redundant, network-centric, modular timing system includes a novel architecture that allows automatic compensation of propagation delay. The HPTS also offers a range of rubidium options including cesium clocks to ensure the highest accuracy of your timing system. Input synchronization sources include GPS, SAASM GPS, Have Quick, 1PPS, IRIG A, IRIG B, IRIG G, 10MHz, and NTP. Outputs include Have Quick, 1PPS, IRIG A, IRIG B, IRIG G, 10MHz, and NTP. The HPTS is ruggedized and fully qualified for airborne, shipboard, and land mobile applications.

The GPS Airborne Approved PTS-SAASM is a frequency standard and complete master clock containing a GPS Rubidium Oscillator. This military timing system is one of the most reliable master clocks on the market today and is used for many of our U.S. security systems.
The definition of SAASM is Selective Availability/Anti-Spoofing Module. The PTS-SAASM is a state of the art frequency instrument offering a wide range of features and time and frequency outputs accurate to < 40ns rms to UTC (USNO) and 1x10-12 respectively.



This frequency standard offers a full suite of low phase noise outputs including: IRIG B, Have Quick, 10MHz, 1PPS, serial time navigation messages and provides a complete Network Time Server using NTP (Network Time Protocol). The built-in web browser provides status information about the GPS system, monitoring of internal time errors and user access to a number of alarm thresholds. Both single and dual redundant models are available for the PTS-SAASM.

The PTS-SAASM is used as a part of many time and frequency systems Brandywine makes for military customers. Brandywine's Portable Timing Unit (PTU) is a low cost, battery operated, transportable timing system that is designed to provide precise time of day at point of use. The TFD8000 is a militarized time and frequency system has been qualified to rigorous military standards and uses modular construction to ensure complete flexibility and easy maintenance. The TFD8000 is the US Navy’s program of record Time and Frequency Distribution System (TFDS) and is fully supported by the Navy’s supply system. Single, dual and triple redundant models are available. Over thirty standard options are available. Oven controlled and Rubidium time bases are available. Both types are disciplined to the GPS satellite system.

The TFD-8000 is the flagship of the Brandywine Communications fleet. It is a highly reliable, extremely flexible time and frequency source. Reliability and maintainability are features that were "designed in" to the Brandywine Communications TFD-8000, not added on.

The 5051/5052 Dual Switch Unit is mainly designed for time and frequency applications where reliability criteria call for redundancy in RF and Pulse source.

This unit accepts two input pairs consisting of one RF signal (sine/square) and one pulse (typically 1PPS).

Both primary and secondary pairs are monitored and in case of fault, the unit will automatically switch to the other channel (Typically switching <3ms).

In addition, OSA 5051 or 5052 offers local or remote control using RS-232 or Ethernet interface.

Input/Output range is from 1MHz to 20MHz for RF signal and from 0.1s to 2s for the pulse signal.

Nanosecond Accuracy

Redundancy And Reliability
The 4370A receives reference-timing signals from GPS, fiber optic and E1 inputs and translates them to generate the output signals. In case of a loss of GPS, the 4370A automatically switches to and locks to the auxiliary fiber optic or 2 MHz, 2Mbit/sec input to continually provide outputs that are traceable to a primary reference clock. The 4370As can be linked together via the optional fiber optic transceiver on the input, to provide a double redundant system with no single point of failure allowing for the utmost in system reliability. All of the 4370A outputs are provided on hot swappable modules so each one can be removed if needed or additional outputs can be added without the need for powering down your network.

Power Redundancy From Hot Swap AC or DC Power Supplies
The standard 4370A comes configured with AC/DC hot swap power supplies, (1) 10MHz hot swap output module and (1) 1PPS hot swap output module providing a total of (4) 10MHz and (4) 1PPS outputs. If additional outputs are required, the 4370A 1U chassis can support up to six hot swap output modules which will provide 24 total outputs in a single 1U chassis.
