Time/frequency distribution unit - OSA 5331
The OSA 5331 PTP Grandmaster is designed to serve reliable time, phase and frequency to numerous PTP Slaves thanks to its dual PTP ports along with a powerful PTP engine.The OSA 5331 PTP Grandmaster consists mainly of a GNSS-receiver (GPS + GLONASS) and a PTP engine delivering PTP service over an Ethernet port along with frequency, phase and time-of-day outputs for legacy equipments.
To guarantee maximum protection or to operate without GPS antenna installation, the OSA 5331 PTP Grandmaster can be synchronized using frequency inputs such as 10 MHz, 2.048 MHz or E1 as well as 1PPS + ToD.
The OSA 5331 PTP Grandmaster uses an internal Quartz Crystal or Rubidium oscillator as a highly stable time base.
