Elsys TPCE transient recorder modules are digitizers with high-precision and high-resolution. They include up-to-date features such as continuous data acquisition, advanced triggering, digital input lines (markers), differential inputs, and ICP coupling for driving piezo sensors. The different TPCE modules are PCI Express (x4) boards that are compact with short form. It is possible to start an expandable data acquisition system with one or more modules that are extendable in the future. This can result in a solution having up to 64 channels in a single housing. This is a key benefit of a modular data acquisition application.

For meeting application requirements, it is possible to mix modules with different sample rates and different resolution. Engineers to start using the high-performance Elsys Transient recorder application software TranAX 3 right from day one. They can also work on developing a customized software based on the C++/C# driver having sample Windows and Linux programs.

The TPCX Data Acquisition card of Elsys has extensive precision and resolution digitizers. The DAQ provides up to 240 MS/s sample rate, and 14-bit and 16-bit vertical resolution. This can be used both digitally and analogically. For digital usage, it has up to 1 GB memory, which contains 128 MS per channel. For analog use, it has 4 or 8 channel single ended and differential cards.

This device has a single recording mode, and free running scope mode with auto trigger functionality. This also comes with multi-block recording or the segmented memory, and continuous data recording to the hard disk or streaming. This also offers an event controlled recording or ECR mode that gives an automatic recording, without dead-time and dual time base.

The Elsys TPCX Transient Recorder modules by Elsys, have high-resolution digitizers with different features, such as having advanced trigger mode, continuous data acquisition mode, differential inputs, digital input lines and ICP coupling for powering piezo sensors. TPCX cards are equipped with 4 analog-digital converters in the case of 4-channel cards and eight converters for 8-channel cards.

This allows using the full converter speed with all active channels. The client-server architecture of the software allows to remotely control the TPCX modules over Ethernet with access from one or several clients. TPCX cards with maximum sampling rate up to 80 MS/s can be upgraded to 64 MS memory per channel. The TPCX cards with 120 and 240 MS/s can be upgraded to 128 MS memory per channel.

The device is 4-channel single ended, shows a high precision type of 100 mV to 100 V input range and has a very low input noise, along with a high differential CMRR, 64 MS memory per channel and up to 1024 channels. Advanced trigger mode, continuous data acquisition mode, differential inputs digital input lines (Markers) and ICP coupling for powering piezo sensors are the first-rate features of this device.

The powerful Elsys Transient Recorder application software TranAX 3 can be utilized by engineers or they can choose to develop a custom software based on the C++/C# driver with sample programs for Windows and Linux. For ATE and integrated systems, there is an IVI scope class driver and a LabView instrument driver that is available. The client-server design of the software permits control of the TPCX modules over Ethernet.
